After our last trip kayaking in Titusville in April, my husband was asked if we went to Dixie Crossroads for a meal and he was informed that this restaurant was a must stop and dine.

The guidance on this one was spot on! If you are looking for local food with the Old Florida vibe, Dixie Crossroads is absolutely it. My only regret is not coming to eat here sooner!

If I could sum this one up in two words they would be “Old Florida.”

The menu was full of amazing choices but we both went with the recommendation of rock shrimp and got them broiled. A dozen was a plenty for me but I would have gotten some to go because they were just that amazing. I rank them right up there with Key West Pinks and fresh caught Georgia shrimp.

I paired mine with a cup of clam chowder which was fabulous and steamed broccoli. My husband paired his with coleslaw and grits… equally good.

There are other great restaurants in the area but I am so glad we were able to experience this one.

PS…The dessert menu was equally amazing… I sampled the Key Lime Pie and the Chocolate Brownie. 10/10 recommend both but all the options sounded amazing and are made in house.
